Dr. Renae Walton, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN, MSN

Director of House Calls/ Doctor of Nursing Practice

Dr. Walton was the CEO and Founder of Bliss Home Based Primary Medical Care before merging with Amity Medical Group as the Director of House Calls. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, a Master’s of Nursing from Winston Salem State University and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Capella University in Minnesota. She has over twenty-seven years of medical experience with the majority of that time as a board-certified nurse practitioner and has worked in multiple specialty settings, including family practice, internal medicine, nephrology, oncology, urology, geriatric wellness and preventive care. Dr. Walton has also served as a visiting professor, speaker and nurse leader. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing, American Nurses Association, American Nurses Credentialing Center and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Dr. Walton is a compassionate provider who believes in delivering quality, patient-centered care, ensuring patients and families are involved in goal-setting for achievable outcomes. She is a proud mother of two adult sons 26 and 21 one daughter 6..... yes 6 and a beautiful chihuahua.
